Our "superbike" sponsor The Sound of Auckland commented that "Auckland’s 93.8 The Sound were thrilled to offer promotional support for the second annual Bikes BBQ & the Blues - 2011. The concept of this event is brilliant – appealing to a wide range of people ….”
Despite a poor weather start to the day in 2011 the day cleared
and dried out nicely. Sadly the bad weather early in the day put many off so participation was down. Despite that it was another great day for those attending. Feedback was fantastic again and everyone is looking forward to 2012. So for 2012 we ask you to remain staunch and faithfull and make Bikes BBQ & the Blues your priority on Sunday March 11.
In 2011 we had a tremendous lineup of blues artists, being Hammond Gamble, Juice on the Loose, The Recliner Rockers, The Gunsmiths, and The Quarry Cigar Box Company.
